Threw a hen party for my daughter yesterday, for the first time ever I decided to not do the catering myself, have never had someone else to do it. After speaking with Carole I felt reassured immediately that this was the way to go. Wanted an afternoon tea with tiered plates, Carole quickly sent me four menu options and allowed me to mix and match. Lovely choice, sandwiches and pastries, all pricing clear so I could work my budget. A guest was coeliac which was no problem for Carole.

Everything was delivered and set up for me beautifully, pretty vintage side plates, tea cups and saucers and all the crockery that goes with an afternoon tea. Amazing cakes also came including a wonderful gluten free one. Fresh scones with pots of jam and clotted cream in dainty china just completed the picture. Everyone loved everything! So pleased I found Parties To Go, my mum who used to cater for parties was really impressed with the variety and the wonderful presentation. Thank you very much.

Thank you so much – the day was a great success with many compliments about the canapés and buffet which was delicious and just the right amount for lots of seconds. Monique and your other staff were charming and couldn’t have been more helpful. They just took over and we didn’t have to think about the food and drink. It went so very well on Sunday, thanks to the hard work and professionalism of yourselves and your marvellous teams. Cards and letters have been pouring in, full of lavish praise for the delicious food, for the way the staff looked after everyone, and for the stunning setting of the sunlit marquee. Guests report pausing at the top of the steps to take in the scene. Having known our house and garden for up to 40 years they could not believe how it was transformed.

As the hostess I very much appreciated the attentiveness of the staff, from those at the door to the bartenders and from the cooks to the servers. The beer proved very popular, to my joy. No damage whatsover, however trivial, was done to either house or garden: a huge achievement on your part, given the speed with which you had to work and the strenuous nature of the whole operation. A heartfelt thank you. And please would you thank everyone who came to make the day such a success, as builders, carpet-layers, cooks and servers.
