I am a perfectionist and like things done properly and, aside from the great food she provides, her attention to detail and an eye for design helps create a wonderful ambiance. It went so very well on Sunday, thanks to the hard work and professionalism of yourselves and your marvellous teams. Cards and letters have been pouring in, full of lavish praise for the delicious food, for the way the staff looked after everyone, and for the stunning setting of the sunlit marquee. Guests report pausing at the top of the steps to take in the scene. Having known our house and garden for up to 40 years they could not believe how it was transformed.

As the hostess I very much appreciated the attentiveness of the staff, from those at the door to the bartenders and from the cooks to the servers. The beer proved very popular, to my joy. No damage whatsover, however trivial, was done to either house or garden: a huge achievement on your part, given the speed with which you had to work and the strenuous nature of the whole operation. A heartfelt thank you. And please would you thank everyone who came to make the day such a success, as builders, carpet-layers, cooks and servers.

Threw a hen party for my daughter yesterday, for the first time ever I decided to not do the catering myself, have never had someone else to do it. After speaking with Carole I felt reassured immediately that this was the way to go. Wanted an afternoon tea with tiered plates, Carole quickly sent me four menu options and allowed me to mix and match. Lovely choice, sandwiches and pastries, all pricing clear so I could work my budget. A guest was coeliac which was no problem for Carole.

Everything was delivered and set up for me beautifully, pretty vintage side plates, tea cups and saucers and all the crockery that goes with an afternoon tea. Amazing cakes also came including a wonderful gluten free one. Fresh scones with pots of jam and clotted cream in dainty china just completed the picture. Everyone loved everything! So pleased I found Parties To Go, my mum who used to cater for parties was really impressed with the variety and the wonderful presentation. Thank you very much.

Carole and her team catered for my baby girl’s christening. The brunch was absolutely delicious, with some really tasty and unusual dishes and a twist on the mainstream. Carole and her team did an absolutely fabulous job catering for our wedding day at Hampton Court House back in April. From the initial tasting at our home to the day itself Carole really took the time to understand what Chris and I wanted, and helped us to ensure everything ran smoothly on the day (they even ran out to buy extra orange juice when we ran out!). The team were incredibly professional and so many of our guests remarked not only on how amazing the food was (many said it was the best wedding food they had ever had), but also how friendly and helpful all of the staff were. Firstly thank you so much for helping to make my birthday so special on Saturday night. I can’t tell you how delighted we both were with how it went. I really hadn’t known what to expect and, as you saw, it took a lot of effort on my part to let go and allow you to just get on with it (the kitchen is my domain!) But once I succumbed I relaxed and totally enjoyed it. The food was superb, very flavoursome and excellently served. Your ears must have been burning as we have all been singing your praises. Our friends all said how much they enjoyed it and how impressed they were by you and your colleagues.

What really took me by surprise is the condition in which you left the kitchen. I had fully expected to have to get up Sunday morning, wash up all the glasses ready to take them back, and have a general clean up. Not the case at all – you had done everything except wash the last few glasses from the last stragglers (who finally left at 3.15am!) The last thing I expected was to see your colleague mopping the floor. I don’t think the kitchen has been that clean for quite a while – I was just so impressed. So thank you, once again, for everything. A thoroughly enjoyable and memorable evening.
