Robert Denholm House
Robert Denholm House is a really impressive late Victorian mansion, set in 25 acres of beautiful countryside. Built in 1887 by James Hudson, it was originally an elegant family home but over the years it has been residence to the Royal Canadian Airforce, a group of Roman Catholic monks and the National Sunday School Union (NSSU) to name a few. It now has 59 fully equipped offices, a range of meeting rooms available for hire and is a venue for corporate and personal events.
Parties to Go have been lucky enough to provide catering at Robert Denholm House on a few occasions and it really is a beautiful venue for any event. Recently we were privileged to cater for an amazing 21st birthday party for 80 guests and it really was a beautiful evening. The sun was shining and it seemed only fitting that all guests were greeted with drink – a choice of three different cocktails – and were then served up a fantastic buffet which included some wonderful salads, tarts and dressed fish as well as a selection of delicious desserts.
Lots of pictures were taken during the party and we’ve been given permission to share some images from the evening of our food and the venue. We’d like to thank the family and the events manager for letting us do this.
