Venue Focus: Bignor Park
Set in an eleven hundred acre, privately owned estate at the foot of the magnificent South Downs, Bignor Park is truly a stunning venue for weddings, parties and corporate events.
Proud to be on their Preferred Suppliers List, we’ve catered many fabulous weddings over the years at Bignor, and no two have ever been the same. This fabulous venue comes with many options to delight you and your guests, no matter the size or theme of your event. From dinner and dancing in the two-hundred-year-old Stables to a starlit marquee situated on the Croquet Lawn, each location is sure to wow. And as venue hire comes with exclusive use of the gardens, your party will also be able to enjoy the sweeping lawns and calming Zen pond and Temple as well as the stunning panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
The Stables are situated around a cobbled courtyard with the Coach Store on the opposite side opening out through French doors onto the Quadrangle – a secluded walled garden ideal for drinks or evening relaxation. There are five rooms on offer in the Stables:
The Coach Store – a large dancing room, or a dining room to seat sixty-five.
The Stove Room – adjoined to the Coach Store this provides a further dining room to seat twenty-five or the perfect room to set up a bar.
The Stalls – an additional dining area or entertaining room with four original horse stalls.
The Tack Room – a bridal room to escape to for a quiet moment.
The Garden Room – a food preparation room for caterers.
If you prefer a more outdoor theme to your event, then the Gardens offer significant space for marquees and Tepees of a variety of sizes whilst the Greek Loggia is also licensed for outside ceremonies.
The fact that the location is stunning and space unique is not the only draw to Bignor Park. The venue limits wedding bookings to only twelve a year which means that your special day is given the attention and focus it deserves. It also means every booking comes with guaranteed exclusivity and time and access for setup.
