TikTok food trends to revolutionise your party
TikTok is a social media platform which has blown up in the last couple of years. Although we’re not currently on Tik Tok as a business, we love watching the shared creative videos. And we love all the TikTok food trends and ideas shared on this platform.
Used daily by 1 billion users, the app is a powerhouse for all things food and party. Two of our favourite things. So, here at Parties to Go, we would love to share some of our most loved and current food trends. No matter how big or small your party is, they could make it extra special.
Bring-a-board night
From meats to sweet treats, the bring-a-board night is fun and easy, and everyone can participate. Simply ask your guests to bring a food platter based on your theme and watch the creativity unfold. We have seen it all, from beige to Italian-themed board nights, with guests bringing everything from biscuits to pizza slices. Our board would be a British classic, piled high with mini Yorkshire puddings and fish and chips canapes – we know how it’s done! We just love this trend. And what a fabulous way to share your love for food.
Nachos night
Yes, it really is as good as it sounds and is perfect for any sized party. You’ll just need to make sure you’ve got plenty of tin foil, as this night could get a little messy – but it’s totally worth it. For one night, your kitchen counter becomes a giant plate, as guests tuck into a heap of nachos stacked high with whatever saucy toppings you fancy. We particularly love this night as no washing up is needed. What more could you want – Arriba!
Cocktail night
The cocktail night involves inviting your guests to make their own cocktail from the chosen theme (any theme you desire). We definitely love our food-themed nights as you can imagine – but thinking about beverages at your party is equally as important! Our highlights from this trend include the ‘Party with Percy’ M&S-themed cocktail and the twist on the classic Espresso Martini with a dash of baileys (oh yes, you heard that right!). We have had a good chuckle over the array of inventive names and just how creative these themed nights have been.
Homemade pizza night
Bring out your inner child at a homemade pizza night, as you make your own (or buy – we won’t tell!) pizza dough and layer with any toppings you wish. Whether you are a pineapple on pizza lover or not so much, craft a pizza to your own individual tastes. Or even roll the dough into strips, fry and dip into Nutella. Whatever the topping, this night is a fantastic way to play with your food.
